Have been here 3 times now and have yet to have a bad meal, staff all seem okay and very helpful, good range of drinks, nice clean restaurant and toilets, all in all a good little local pub/restaurant, give it a try and make your own mind up about it, only downside limited car parking.

We visit the restaurant at least twice a month and have never failed to be impressed by the friendly, personal service of Rachel and staff and the excellent menu particularly the Sunday carvery. Good food and definitely value for money.

We have been for a meal here before and our family party of 8 had really enjoyed it so my wife and I returned on our wedding anniversary. I had the gammon, it was burnt and dry I was told this is how it comes off the grill! I was offered another meal but it had put me off eating so I declined...So we had gone from loving a previous meal to being barred from the premises for declining a burnt meal. Their loss as we had decided to have a big family birthday there in April but not now.

Was told about the high quality of food and service but was very dissapointed in the starters and mains we received!Complained about starter only to be told that this problem happens a lot and was not offered any compensation of any sorts! Main was bland and over cooked! Service was good but at the end of the day thats not what we went for would definitely never go again!

Very friendly people, every where was nice and clean, I was a little disappointed with the main course but had a word and it was soon taken back and a fresh one was soon brought to me. We will be going back.

This pub/restaurant came highly recommended and we couldn't wait to try it. The restaurant itself looked clean, fresh and inviting. However, the menu was similar to a frozen food supermarket product list and to be honest, just about everything on it could be bought in Tesco and then deep fried. My main course of scampi and chips was disappointing. Overall, a great disappoinment.
