Paul & Karen took over this fantastic free house in March 2010 and have already made a great impact on the local community. A delightful setting near the Broads has been enhanced by a tasteful refurbishment, an excellent choice of ales and some sumptuous country cooking. The ales are from local breweries and include IPA, Adnams, Woodforde’s Wherry and the food features delights like Beef & Ale Pie and Fillet of Beef East Indies, a fusion of mushrooms, curry and stem ginger! Plenty to do too, with a play area for kids, a quiz and regular live music.

Our favourites were Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Aspells Gravy and beautifully fresh Pan Fried Seabass. The large garden is perfect for families and there is lots of entertainment too.
