I remember The Crown in Watton, I was the manager there back in 1964. I believe it was under the control of Paton and co. I was working at Divers in Great Yarmouth and the manager of the crown was taken ill, I was only 19 at the time but I ran the place until a tenant was found. There used to be a very tatty cafe next door. The rooms back then were usually full of officers from the raf base. I enjoyed my time there very much.
