The lord, born in the village, was a regular in the pub that is now almost a museum to Nelson, with some superb artefacts. An AA Rosette holder, great food with fish, meat, local produce plus good vegetarian dishes. Real ales include Nelson’s Revenge from the barrel and Nelson’s Blood, a rum based tipple.
