New tenants, Dave & Michelle have really brought a breath of fresh air to this pleasant, C18th pub. There is a new bar menu, daily specials and a fine Sunday lunch, as well as 3 real ales, including the excellent Batemans. They now offer many food deals, including a Pensioners Special on Thursday lunchtimes.

Nick Brown has brought his vast experience within the industry to the New Inn. Utilising only locally sourced ingredients the food is fantastic! Choose favourites such as Steak & Abbot Ale Pie, fish dishes from Grimsby and make sure you book for the Sunday Roast, its not to be missed! Good news, the Ship has reopened. Now run by the enthusiastic Jim & Jill who serve excellent food and beer all day everyday! The real ales include the superb Hobgoblin and amongst the array of dishes you will find all your pub favourites like Scampi, Jacket Potatoes and Burgers, as well as a nice choice of vegetarian options.
