This historic, riverside venue dates back to C16th and offers food, drink and accommodation of the highest quality. Great care is taken over both the menu planning and food preparation utilising fine local ingredients, including beef from Redpoll & Dexters cattle. The menu is varied and includes succulent Steaks, Beer Battered Haddock, Fresh home-made Pies, an excellent Dexters Burger and a moist Deep & Meaty Lasagne. This centrally located, traditional pub has been refreshed under the new management team of Terry Stout & Jill Coult. A good honest bar menu, blackboard specials, Sunday lunch and a selection of good real ales should keep everyone happy. The parking is easy and families love the garden, patio and play area.
