Named after the Corksand Light ship, this super pub has balconies with excellent sea views. There’s a beautiful new restaurant, entirely non smoking, where you can savour traditional English food from fresh fish & chips to succulent steaks. Live music 3 times a week. Booking is advisable.

Situated close to the seafront with delightful open views over the water from the new conservatory and now run by Hugh and Claire. There is a lovely range of dishes served in the restaurant, with a terrific community spirit in the bar which welcomes locals and newcomers and boasts 3 well kept real ales.

Mark & Lorraine have totally refreshed this bright modern bar. Lots of stainless steel and mirrors create a trendy feel, complemented by the comfort of soft leather sofas! Classic cocktails and 5 screens playing classic movies create a unique ambience which is enlivened on Saturdays with a popular disco.

Anita & David have made vast improvements here including a complete redecoration. They keep 4 good ales which include IPA and Woodforde’s Wherry and are proud to have been awarded their Cask Marque. The food is not only all home-made but of an excellent quality too! Very diverse, you can have anything from Fresh Fish and Fish Pies, to more filling dishes like Curry and Lasagne or light snacks for those in a hurry. The terrace is a delight in summer and this venue really has something for everyone.

This popular restaurant is efficiently managed by Amanda Adams and is now open from 6.30am ‘til 11pm. The traditional menu is always available and there are now a growing range of healthy options like toasted deli sandwiches and salads at less than 3% fat. Kids love their own menu which comes with a gift.
